Sharm El Sheikh: Stargazing, Quad Safari, BBQ Dinner & Show

The Sinai doesn't really come alive until the sun goes down. As the afternoon heat softens to gold, you'll leave Sharm El Sheikh behind and head into the open desert, with a quad bike waiting, camp fires being lit, and a night unlike any other taking shape ahead of you.

Grip the throttle and carve your own line across the dunes, the engine humming and a plume of sand trailing behind you. When the riding winds down, a camel carries you the old way into a Bedouin village, swaying gently as the last light drains from the hills. Inside a low desert tent, sweet herbal tea is poured while the smell of charcoal and grilled meat drifts in from the fire.

Dinner is served by candlelight, a generous Bedouin BBQ, as Tanoura dancers spin in a blur of colour, belly dancers move to the drums, and a fire show throws light across the tent. Then the performers fall quiet, the lamps dim, and you step out into the dark. Above you, far from any city glow, the Sinai sky is crowded with stars. Through the telescope you'll pick out planets and constellations your eyes could never catch alone, reading the same sky Bedouin travellers have followed for centuries.

Air-conditioned hotel pickup and drop-off are included, along with your guide, every activity and dinner, so there's nothing to arrange but the night itself. The tour runs about five hours and is built for first-timers, with a short safety briefing before you ride. Comfortable closed-toe shoes and a light layer for the cooler desert evening are all you need to bring.
