Overview
The city lights of Sharm El Sheikh slip away behind you, and within half an hour the tarmac gives way to open Sinai desert. Your quad is waiting, engine ticking over — but tonight the real destination isn't a place on the map. It's the sky.
You open the throttle and carve your own line across the sand, dust catching the last of the afternoon light. When the engines rest, a camel takes over the pace — slow, swaying, unhurried — carrying you toward the Echo Mountains, where a single shout comes bouncing back off the rock. A Bedouin village welcomes you with sweet herbal tea and the smell of bread baking on the fire.
As the sun drops, you settle into a low-lit tent for a barbecue dinner and a show that fills the desert with drum, colour and flame. Then the performers fall quiet, the lamps dim, and your guide points a telescope skyward. Out here, past the reach of any resort glow, the Milky Way spills from horizon to horizon — the very stars the Bedouin once used to find their way home.
