As the afternoon heat softens, you leave the resort strip behind and head into the open Sinai. Ahead lies a single evening that folds together everything the desert does best: the rush of an engine over sand, the slow sway of a camel, a Bedouin feast under canvas, and a sky so dark the stars feel close enough to touch.
After a quick safety briefing you take the throttle and ride out across the golden dunes, the Sinai mountains glowing in the low sun and a plume of dust trailing behind you. You pull up at the Echo Mountains, where a shout comes back to you seconds later and the desert falls silent again — the perfect place to catch the sunset and a few unforgettable photos.
At a traditional Bedouin village you are welcomed the desert way: a glass of hot herbal tea, an unhurried camel ride, and time to simply be still. As night settles you take your place in a lantern-lit tent for a BBQ buffet dinner while a Tanoura dancer spins and a fire show throws light across the sand. Then the real show begins — an astronomer sets up a telescope and walks you through the constellations, planets and the Milky Way arching overhead.
Everything is handled, from the moment you are collected at your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the moment you are dropped back, guide and dinner included. One of the highlights of our Egypt trip! The ATV tour through the desert was exhilarating, and the camel ride was more comfortable than expected. The stargazing was incredible - we could see the Milky Way clearly. The dinner and traditional show were the perfect way to end the night. Great value day tour in Sharm El Sheikh.
The stargazing portion of this tour was incredible! Our guide pointed out constellations and planets using a laser pointer. The ATV and camel rides were also great fun. Good food and entertainment at dinner. Highly recommend!
