Marsa Alam: Dolphin-Watching Cruise with Snorkeling & Lunch
Out past the reef, wild dolphins move on their own terms — and for one day, so do you.
Overview
Some mornings are worth waking before the sun. Today a boat is waiting for you on the Red Sea — and somewhere past the reef line, off the coast of Marsa Alam, a pod of wild dolphins is already awake, tracing lazy circles through water so clear it barely looks real.
You slip from the deck into the warm shallows and the surface world falls away. Below you the reef opens into a living city — parrotfish grazing the coral, clouds of tiny anthias parting around your fins, light bending in long blue columns toward the sea floor. Time loosens. There is only your breath, the sway of the water, and the quiet hope of a silver shape at the edge of sight.
Shaab Samadai — the reef they call Dolphin House — isn’t an aquarium, and nothing here is staged. This is a protected reserve where spinner dolphins come and go on their own terms, which is exactly what makes a sighting feel like a gift rather than a transaction. Whether they surface beside the boat or stay just out of reach, you spend the day inside their world.
By the time the boat turns back toward the harbour, lunch eaten and skin warm with salt and sun, something has quietly reset. You came for the dolphins. You leave with the rarer thing — a day when all you had to do was be present on the water.

An amazing trip! The guide, Mohamed, was fantastic, providing a personal approach and making every effort to ensure we had a wonderful doplhin experience.
