Private 2-Day Cairo & Pyramids Tour from Hurghada
Stand where it all began — two unhurried days among the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and Egypt's very first pyramid, with a private Egyptologist to yourself.
Overview
You didn't come all the way to the Red Sea only to see the sea. Somewhere north, across the desert, the Pyramids have been waiting five thousand years — and over two unhurried days, with a private Egyptologist and a car that's yours alone, you're going to meet them properly.
The first day belongs to Cairo. Inside the Egyptian Museum you stand among the treasures an entire civilisation left behind, your guide turning glass cases into stories you'll actually remember. Then the Giza Plateau opens up in front of you: the Great Pyramid — the last of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world still standing, raised as an eternal tomb more than 4,500 years ago — and the Sphinx, keeping its silent watch. No coach horn hurries you along. That night you sleep in Cairo, not on a bus back to the coast.
The second day travels further back in time. At Sakkara you reach the Step Pyramid of Djoser — the first pyramid Egypt ever raised in stone, the rough first draft of everything you saw perfected at Giza the day before. A short drive on lies Memphis, once the capital of the whole ancient world, now a quiet field of fallen giants and toppled colossi. Standing between them, the story finally lines up: this is where the idea of building for eternity was born.
By the time your private car turns south again toward Hurghada, the sea won't look quite the same. You'll have walked the length of Egypt's beginning — first capital, first pyramid, greatest pyramid — not as a rushed photo stop, but as a story you now understand. Most people bring home pictures of the Pyramids. You'll bring home the reason they were built.

We had two amazing days in Cairo, our driver picked us up in the hotel and we head to Cairo, our guide was waiting for us in the museum. Shaimaa was great and lead us to the main attraction in Cairo, she explained the Egyptians history very well over the two days in Cairo. The hotel in Cairo was in a great location. We had a direct view of the pyramids from the roof terrace, what made our dinner and breakfast quite special. Thanks a lot for the trip! I highly recommend!
Big shout out to our driver Hedra and our guide Khaled Elkomaty who vent above and beyond what could be expected. ❤️ It was without a doubt a trip to remember, and the guide was very knowledgeable and had great energy. All in all it was a great trip, but with a scorching 40 degrees celsius it was also a demanding one, and not for everyone I imagine, so plan accordingly to weather if you want to get the most out of it, because you will be bombarded with information and inputs (in a good way) so to get the most out of it, I recommend a cooler temperature. Hotel with a view of the pyramids is quite something, and the pyramids is of course quite something, but I was in many ways more impressed by the step pyramid, so don't miss out on that one. Memphis isn't much to see to be honest, but there is an impressive statue of ramses the 2nd that ties it together with Luxor. Drinks was not included on the lunches witch was somewhat anyoing, so remember money for that and tips.
