Orange Island Boat Trip from Hurghada with Snorkelling & Parasailing
The reef goes quiet the moment you drop in — and an hour later you are looking down on all of it.
Overview
You did not fly to the Red Sea to look at it from a sun lounger. This is the day you get in — twice over open reef, and once into the air above it.
The moment you put your face in the water, the engine noise stops. What is left is your own breathing and a coral wall dropping away beneath you, busy with fish that have no particular interest in you. An hour goes by in what feels like ten minutes. Between the two reef stops there is Orange Island itself — ninety minutes of shallow, startlingly clear water and sand you can stand in knee-deep a long way out — and a buffet laid out on deck while the boat repositions.
Then the harness goes on, and the day resolves itself. From the end of the line you finally see the shape of what you spent the morning inside: where the shallows stop and the reef wall begins, why the water changes colour, how small the boat looks against all of it. Giftun is a protected marine park, not just a beach, and the entrance fee built into your ticket is part of what pays for keeping it one — most boats out here collect that fee from you on the day.
You will come home sunburnt in one specific stripe, with salt in your hair and photographs that do not quite carry it. Cancellation is free up to twelve hours before, and you can reserve now and pay later — but that is the least interesting thing about the day. What you actually take back is the few seconds after the line goes tight, when the deck drops away and you stop thinking about anything at all.

Absolutely smashing time , staff were amazing at all times kept you safe always! Will definitely use company again 10/10 customer service🙌🏼
Excellent. Salah was excellent as snorkelling guide. would definately do it again. Ahmed was great as your guide. And all the staff and captain were also great. thank you.
I liked the interaction. Salah introduced us to all team members, made us feel like one of his family memebers. It was very lively and inclusive overall. I was extremely happy to have had this experience with him
I really enjoyed this trip, the views at Orange Bay were stunning! We enjoyed the food, the yacht, seeing the dolphins and snorkelling. My only disappointment was the time of day we were made to snorkel which was morning. The water was freezing cold which ruined my first snorkelling experience as it took me over an hour to dry off after whereas in the afternoon, the water was hot which would have been ideal to snorkel then, as it would have only taken 10 minutes to dry off after! Just to note, I am anaemic so my body can't retain any heat anyway and I am always cold!
It was a great day out on the red sea! There were a couple of guided snorkel/swim stops and then the island for an hour and a half which was great and then transfer to the parasailing boat. Only downside was the transfer from the hotel to the boat, the van was half an hour late.
