Some days you don't want an itinerary — you want to be somewhere the sea does the deciding. Sharm El Naga is that place: a protected bay forty kilometres down the coast from Hurghada, far enough from the resorts that the water goes still and clear and the day slows to your pace.
You wade in from the beach and the surface world quietly closes behind you. A house reef begins just off the shallows — soft coral, darting shoals of fish, the odd turtle grazing the seagrass — all close enough to reach without a boat. A life jacket keeps you effortless on the surface, so first-timers and children drift over the same coral as everyone else.
This is a stretch of Red Sea that has been left mostly alone, and it shows: healthier reef and calmer water than the busier day-trip routes further north. A day here isn't about ticking off a sight — it's the rare kind of rest that actually resets you, the sort you only get when your phone has no signal and lunch is the biggest decision left.
By late afternoon you're sun-warmed, salt-skinned and pleasantly emptied out, watching the bay shrink in the mirror on the drive home. You came for a snorkel; you leave with a day that belonged entirely to you.

Swimming with dolphins in the wild is a memory never to forget, it is really awesome. The snorkeling was good, but the snorkeling spots were not the most beautiful ones. This is because spotting dolphins is the first priority and dictates the area to go. Organization and transport were quite okay! We really recommend this trip!
absolut perfekt. pünktliche Abholung, der Strand und das Meer sind nicht überfüllt, der Guide war mehrfach mit ins schnorcheln, hat uns auf Tiere wie Rochen und muränen oder auch eine Tauchschule unter uns aufmerksam gemacht, war stets präsent ohne aufdringlich zu sein und immer absolut zuvorkommend. das Mittagessen war Klasse, selbstverständlich nicht so umfangreich wie im Hotel, aber bei den bisherigen Kommentaren hatte ich tatsächlich mit dem schlimmsten gerechnet. es gab mehrere Salate, Gemüse, reis, pommes, gegrilltes Hähnchen und köfte als Buffet. also für uns vollkommen ausreichend, ich weiß jetzt nicht was da mehr erwartet wurde. der Tag war super entspannend und erholsam, trotzdem atemberaubend durch die Schnorchelgänge. ich kann es jedem nur ans Herz legen. es lohnt sich.

Sharm El Naga Beach & Snorkel DayAlles was heel goed geregeld! Echt een aanrader! Het eten was heerlijk en er was goede begeleiding bij het snorkelen, ze namen de tijd en leerde zelfs mijn jongste van 7 goed snorkelen. Ze namen ze echt bij de hand en hielde constant in de gaten of alles goed ging tijdens het snorkelen. Daar kan ik alleen maar vol lof over praten. Er werden ook filmpjes en foto’s gemaakt tijdens het snorkelen voor 25 euro konden we de ze overkopen en konden deze via Google downloaden. Het is een hele mooie snorkel plek veel vissen, vergeleken met 20 jaar geleden wel minder verschillende vissen aanwezig maar het is dan nu ook een meer ontdekte plek dan toendertijd. Het is een rustige plek en genoeg ruimte om te snorkelen. Het eten is ook goed geregeld en was lekker. Echt een aanrader!
We did really like that the tour guide took us behind the designated lines so we could explore entire coral reef, very far from the shore. He did really great pictures and in total we spend around 3.5 hrs in the water with small breaks. So really happy we booked with GTG.
