Explore Ancient Egypt on a private day trip from Hurghada. Visit Karnak Temple, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Valley of the Kings to admire the ancient architecture and learn about great history.

Overview

Pick you up from your hotel by our tour guide, then drive approximately 240 km to Luxor. Arrive in Luxor and begin your trip by visiting East Luxor. The Luxor temple is a large ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city today known as Luxor. It was constructed approximately 1400 BCE. The Egyptian language refers to it as Rest or the southern sanctuary.

Karnak Temple Complex, also known as Karnak, is a sprawling collection of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor. The complex was built during Senusret I's time in the Middle Kingdom (around 2000–1700 BC) and continued until the Ptolemaic period (305–30 BC). Lunch at one of the Egyptian restaurants' cuisines.

The next stop on the journey is the Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, which is a valley in Egypt. Between the 16th and 11th century BC, rock-cut tombs were discovered for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom.

Then visit The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as the Djeser-Djeseru. Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty, who passed away in 1458 BC, was the architect of the temple that lies underneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the western bank of the Nile, close to the Valley of the Kings.

End the tour by visiting the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. Theban Necropolis, which is located west of the River Nile, has been their location since 1350 BCE, and they have been there since then. At the end of the tour, drive you back to the Hurghada hotel
