This is where you learn to dive the easy way. One instructor, a short friendly briefing, gear that is fitted for you — then a guided descent of around twenty minutes onto a living reef. Butterflyfish drift past your mask, coral towers climb from the sand, and the whole thing is quieter than any classroom. A second reef and a second dive follow after lunch.
The lunch itself is no afterthought: a fresh on-board buffet with soft drinks and hot drinks included, eaten on deck between two reefs with the horizon for wallpaper. Non-divers can snorkel straight off the boat at both sites or simply claim a sun mattress.
