Careers at Egyptra
Work on trips people remember
We plan and run tours across Egypt — Red Sea diving days, desert safaris, Cairo and Luxor itineraries. If you like solving real problems for real travellers, this is a job where what you do on Monday shows up in somebody's holiday on Tuesday.

About the role
Reservations is where an enquiry becomes somebody's holiday. You are the person who answers when a guest asks whether there is space on tomorrow's Orange Bay boat, checks it with the supplier, confirms the pickup time with their hotel, and makes sure the driver knows where to go. When it works, nobody notices. When it doesn't, you're the one who fixes it.
You will sit with our operations team in Hurghada, working across our own tours and our partner suppliers up and down the Red Sea coast. Tourism doesn't keep office hours, so this role works on a shift rota that includes evenings and weekends — you will always know your schedule in advance, and it is shared fairly across the team.
What you'll do
- Answer booking enquiries by email, WhatsApp and phone, and turn them into confirmed reservations
- Check availability with suppliers and confirm pickup times, hotels and transfers
- Keep bookings, guest details and payments accurate and up to date in our system
- Coordinate with guides, drivers and boat crews so every departure leaves on schedule
- Handle same-day problems — delayed flights, weather cancellations, last-minute changes — and keep guests informed
- Follow up after tours and help resolve complaints, changes and refund requests
What we're looking for
- Fluent English, written and spoken — most of our guests contact us in English
- Willing to work a shift rota that includes evenings and weekends
- Confident with computers: email, spreadsheets and web-based booking systems
- Calm and organised under pressure, with real attention to detail
- Based in Hurghada, or willing to relocate — this is an on-site role
- Egyptian residency or a valid right to work in Egypt
Nice to have
- A second language: German, Italian, Russian, French or Polish
- Previous experience in reservations, a travel agency, a hotel front desk or a call centre
- Local knowledge of Red Sea excursions, dive sites and hotel areas
- Experience with a booking or CRM system
